Laser Spiral 鐳射彈簧

The Laser Spiral is a quirky instrument, that is simple but powerful. Based on the movements of a slinky spring, this expressive instrument is much more than a toy! The sounds you can get out of this gadget range from mysterious soundscapes, over deep resonant basstones to hectic laser gun shots. You can hang it across the room and hit it with a mallet or throw it like a Yoyo, if you want you can even hang it onto a speaker and play with reverby feedback, the possibillities are really endless!
Note: This instrument is based on a Piezo-Disc (also known as contact mic), so the signal is rather weak and needs a preamp. You can use anything from a guitar amp, mixer, or audio interface, if it has a fitting 6.3mm Jack Socket, it should be able to amplify it. Just don’t try to plug it in your bluetooth speaker, or other Line Level devices, that won’t work.
